Co-ord Love

So recently I've fallen in love with Co-ordinates; I think they can give off such a good look as an outfit for a night out during the day. Some patterns are just beautiful but sometimes a simple block colour is great because you can easily dress it up with jewelry.

I think they're a real staple piece for anyone's wadrobe for the summer as they can be worn seperatley as a day time outfit and then put together for an amazing night time outfit.

Winter Wishlist

Dark lipstick and dark nails have always an obsession over winter, especially over the past couple of years I’ve been investing in a lot darker colours whether that be in make-up or fashion. So here’s my first wishlist; a few fashion/beauty items I’ve had my eye on for the past couple of weeks as we get into the colder winter months.

I found this dress on Topshop and have seen it a few times when I’ve gone to a store. I adore the style of this dress and I feel I could wear it any season and either dress it up with a pair of heels or dress down with a pair of geeky patent shoes.

Cut Out boots are all the rage right now and I have jumped on the bandwagon and seen a few pairs I liked, these from ARK are really cool, I love how chunky they are and could go with various bottoms. I also found a flat, less chunky pair from Topshop which would look beautiful with a cute summer dress here.

Dark make up/nails are a must for me in winter and I am in love with deep reds/browns; this oxblood type red nail polish from Butter London called Fiddlesticks is gorgeous and would go really well with a white outfit. If your wanting to match nails and lipstick; try wearing Dark Side by MAC; this colour looks great on every skin tone.

I love velvet; I own a dress from Missguided in Velvet and it looks beautiful; it’s the same colour as these leggings from Lashes of London; its one of my favourite colours ever. I think these would look nice with the cut out boots mentioned earlier.

The last thing on my wishlist is a little novelty item that makes me a little happy. I love jumpers; in winter I basically live in them! I saw a girl in college wearing denim shirt with a Bart Simpson print so I googled ‘Denim Bart Simpson Shirt’ and ROMWE came up; I looked around on the search and saw this jumper and fell in love. I’ve never ordered anything from ROMWE but many bloggers I’ve seen that have seem to love their products and wear them often.

Ayia Napa 2013 Part III

So this is the 3rd and final part of my holiday blog; enjoy!

So the Monday came around and we started to get a little more depressed as our week came to an end and we realised that Tuesday was our last day! 

We spent Monday out on Nissi avenue buying our family's gifts; we also hired quad bikes to last us to Tuesday; so we drove around on those for a while which honestly was the best decision we ever made! They were so easy to use and made it much easier to get around on than trying to call a taxi and haggle a price lower than 3euros...

We then left the shops and went home to get ready. We had brought tickets for a few things on Thursday while waiting for a taxi from a woman called Zara (if your going to Napa look her up on twitter @pinkquadgirls) She gaves us; Boat Party Tickets and tickets for the Party Hard Bar Crawl for Monday and Tuesday Night.

So we went home from the beach and shopping; got our t-shirts and headed out; we were a little late and found the bar crawl in Bedrock; which obviously I was insanely excited about; I got to be in my favourite place on one of our last nights! So we asked how much the drinks were and they were 5euro's each and we thought... no! we're making our own bar crawl! So we ended up in a bar called Bar Ecstasy. 

While we were in Bar Ecstasy; were got there around 1am and that got us an hour of free drinks; but after there for about an hour the music shut off so we all started chanting 'WHERE THE FUCK IS THE DJ' in which caught the attention of this man to the right of me in this photo with his shirt off... I saw him from the side and said to him! 'Oh my god; how much do you look like Gaz from Geordie Shore' in which he replied 'I'm his 2nd Cousin' and all of his friends agreed and backed him up... still not majorly convinced but I'm going with the story I kissed Gaz from Geordie Shore's 2nd Cousin... 

We ended up chatting till half three in the morning until my friends dragged me away and took me to River Reggae were we actually got in that time... I wanted him to come with me so badly... I got his wristband though... I call that success.

We then stayed in River until 6 in the morning and it was light outside and I had the best time that night!

So Tuesday came along and we woke up hungover and depressed; this amazing week came to an end as we started packing as we knew we were going to be busy all day and  that we were leaving Wednesday afternoon. 

So we took some towels, sun cream and money and headed out on our quads to Nissi Beach; now Nissi beach is absolutely beautiful! The sand is almost white and the sea is a crystal blue that you can sea through down to the bottom! 

The beach was packed and it got closer to 3pm we had to leave and give the quad bikes back... the saddest moment of my life giving that back. 

We then walked to the harbour and found our way to a pirate ship that would give us food before going to the party boat! The food by the way... was disgusting...

So we got on to the boat and I was really nervous; I don't really like boats... I get sea sick and with alcohol I don't think that's a good idea and the water was really choppy! But I stuck it out right through to the end without throwing up! 

We drank a lot of Sex on the Beach's again then headed home to get ready for our last night!

Before we headed home; we stopped at McDonalds; happiest moment of my life! So we went home; got showered and changed and headed out with our free entry to River Reggae again for our last night! 

So we hit the pre drink bars then we hit the wall... the tired wall, the alcohol wall, the dying wall. We were all sat there looking like slapped ass's. But we stuck it out and carried on! After going to most places that week we decided to go to a club called Carwash... now Carwash slowly crept up as one of my favourite place in Napa! 

Carwash is basically a Disco, they were playing Spice Girls, the Macarena; they even played B*witched... I was in my element! It was amazing! the tunes we playing, the drinks were out! I didn't drink that much though; I think the boat party killed me!! 

At around half 3 in the morning we headed off to Reggae for our final night out! We spent about 2 hours in Reggae because we wanted to get an early night an not be so tired for our flight (it didn't work we all ended up passing out in the taxi to the airport and on the aeroplane)

So that was Napa! I really want to go away again... I really hope we do! I didn't realise I had done so much; but honestly it was the best week of my life; I've been home for three days now and I haven't stopped talking, tweeting, facebooking, tumblr-ing about it! I miss it so much and I can't wait to see if I can go again next year! Also I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to go away with; the amazing people I met also made my holiday!

Ayia Napa 2013 Part II

Okay, so this is the second part of the holiday blog, enjoy!

Our third day consisted of hitting The Water Park! We left around 10:30am and got to the park ten minutes later; you could see the slides from our villa it was that close; we had an amazing time AND! I conquered my fear of tube slides! 

I went on quite a few, then just chilled in the massive wave pool for about an hour before we left at 5pm then went back home to get showered for another night out! 

We then got ourselves sorted and went out for our third night; this night we went to an Irish bar called Luke Kelly's for pre drinks; which didn't really make any difference because we still got a shot, two drinks and a Sex on The Beach 'fish bowl' now this night... is this night I got my very first hangover. 

                                                                                                                                                              Now back home; my friend Lauren play's for a girls football team and has been playing since junior school when I first met her! She's absolutely amazing at it and while at Luke Kelly's; she started talking to these guys who had a football so she started showing them her skills and completely whooped their butts! 

                                                                                                                                                                                          

After leaving Craig's we made our way up the strip and went to Senior Frogs... We walked passed this every night and we didn't ever go in; but this night we felt we needed too; Georgie found us t-shirts too on the bar, okay... she didn't find them, she stole them ... I later lost mine...

Senior Frog's was amazing; they played house music  which was amazing and we ended up getting on the bar seats and dancing with the wind machine blowing on us!

Then one of the reps came over, told us he'd take our fish bowl away if we didn't get down; so we got down because we didn't want it taken away but he took it from us anyway... we were not happy.

We then went to a bar called Velvet Lips; which was a Sisha Bar; I was really excited to try Shisha because I had never tried it before but it was so fun; until Lily almost broke the Shisha and we almost had to pay 30euro's... which didn't make us very happy!

We then got talking to the reps that worked at Velvet Lips and they were really cool until one started being really sleazy and creepy so we left Velvet and started walking a bit more.

After walking around for a bit more; Bryony took Lauren home; because lets face it; she couldn't stand without holding on to her!

We then realised we had free entry to Starsky's so we went back and after being there for about 15 minutes; Steph took Hannah home because she was in the same state as Lauren if not worse!

So it was left to Myself, Lily, Marni and Georgie to keep the Portsmouth name up! We finally left the 

strip around 4am to go to bed; then woke up around midday.

The next night we went to a beach party; but I was really ill so I didn't stay for very long; bit of a bummer but I couldn't help the way I was feeling!

On our fifth day in Cyprus we headed to the beach as we hadn't been yet; there are two beaches near our villa Nissi Beach and Ayia Thekla Beach; we went to Ayia Thekla on Saturday; and it was right near our the shops and all the restaurants; it's was really cute! 

                                                                                                 We sat down on our little sun loungers for about an hour and a half then decided to go for dinner. We walked back up to the shops and found a restaurant we had driven past loads on our way up to the strip; it was jungle themed and had electronic moving animals!

We ordered our food which was all jungle/animal themed and when it came we all just stared at our food. It was huge! This is Lauren's burger! >> 

I ordered a chicken sandwich which was still big but it had little sword skewers in it... Lauren's burger had a knife through it! that's how big it was!

We then went home and got ready; then hit Luke Kelly's again; pre drink bars have the best deals... so we did a bit of drinking there.  We then left and went to Castle Club; four of us got in and the other four didn't because the tickets they had ran out of time by about 30 seconds!





So we left there and went next door to a club called Titanic which was themed like the Titanic (obviously) and we got cheap drinks in there too! A fishbowl, shot and two drinks; one of which Lily dropped and smashed on the floor...    
We then headed off to an after party club called River Reggae but we got stitched up with the tickets so we couldn't get in! But we had tickets to a club called Aqua anyway so we went there!


We went to Aqua and I bumped into a couple of guys I had been talking to in Titanic and started dancing with them; then saw a guy I had been talking to a couple of nights before... awkward much!
Aqua wasn't the best place ever... it's reminded me of a club back home so it was fantastic...

Ayia Napa 2013 Part I

I'm back from an amazing week with my friends in Cyprus! It was honestly one of the best weeks of my life so far and while we were out there we started talking about going away together again next year! everyone wants to go somewhere different but I honestly wouldn't care if we went back to Ayia Napa, although I'm still paying the price for a week straight of drinking after being home for three days!
I'm going to put his in two/three parts because otherwise it would be waaaay to long if it was just one!

I feel like I need to tell you all about everything that happened on a day to day account... so lets start with Wednesday 3rd of July.

So on the 2nd of July; myself and 6 of my other friends went to my friend Lily's house in the evening to stay as our flight was at 9am we had to be at Gatwick by 7am; meaning we all had to get up latest 4am to get a taxi at 5am... you would think I'm exaggerating when I say I got an hour and a half sleep... I'm really not!

So we got to Gatwick just before 7am and checked our luggage in then went to our haven of Wetherspoons to get some breakfast before our 5 hour flight. Once on the plane we all wanted to crash and sleep but only managed to get half an hour as we were all too excited to sleep! After our long flight and two hour time difference we finally arrived at Larnaca Airport about 5pm (Cyprus time 3pm UK time) and we were all extremely tired but we were still raring to go out on the strip for our first night! 

We got our luggage of the baggage claim, found our taxi and were at our villa around 5:45 but we had a slight problem. We didn't have a key and were locked out of our villa for about 2 hours... Georgie thought it would be a good idea to get in the pool at this point to see what it was like, slipped on the slope and fell in; none of us have ever laughed so much in our lives; so myself, Georgie (after she changed) and Lily went to the shop and brought a lot of water as we couldn't drink the tap water; we came back and the girls had gotten in somehow with a pass code... so we all showered and got ready for our first night out.

We left our villa around 9:30pm to go for dinner then go and hit the clubs; we went to a little cute restaurant at the top of the strip and the woman there gave us a free cocktail with our meal as it was our first night! Sex on the Beach's all round... actually it was more like Sex on the Beach all week with us... so after dinner we went to a pre drink bar call Simos Magic and drunk more SOTB. We then walked around and ended up in a club called Bedrock which is The Flinstones themed and honestly my favourite place! 

After being awake for 24 hours we went home at around 3am and slept for a long time! 

Obviously making sure we were awake in time to make the most of the sun.

On the Thursday, I think you could say we were all a little worse for wear after being awake for 24 hours with a little less than two hours sleep, then getting ridiculously drunk! But we soldiered through by sitting by the pool all day in the 30 degree heat; and yes, being ginger skinned in that kind of heat doesn't go well together and I got burnt on our first proper day!

After spending all day in the sun we started getting ready around 9:30pm that night as we wanted to make the most of the strip and the nightlife in Ayia Napa!
We left the villa around 11pm and got to the strip half an hour later; and we went back to Simos Magic for pre drinks aka pre Sex on the Beach then walked up the strip; we brought laughing gas which was insane and ended in Georgie and I falling on top of each other! After the laughing gas we walked a bit further where we found a rep for Castle Club (supposedly Ayia Napa's biggest club which costs 10euros to get in) the rep then got us free entry and a free cocktail which instantly we took up!.

After we left Castle we got free entry into a club called Starsky's which was awesome! My friends and I found a pole in there which we didn't really leave and everyone was dancing and it was such a good night!

We left Starsky's around 3am and somehow ended up in Bedrock again! but as it was later this time the silent disco was on; basically they give you headphones with a drink and play music through each headphones; I thought it was rather pointless because everyone was singing out loud anyway haha but I was just talking to the DJ all night; who is only 5 months older than me and possibly the hottest thing I have ever layed eyes on...

a little update...

so I haven't posted in a while; purely to the fact my life is the definition of boring. Nothing exciting has really happened since I last had a major post. 

I guess one of the main things that has happened is College. I finished my first year of college; technically it's my second year but I don't class my A-Levels as a college year, I just pissed about... so, that's my first year of this course done; I don't think I would have survived without the friends I made on this course. They are the genuinely the nicest people I've ever met and I'm so glad I became friends with them with the lecturers I had I don't think I would have enjoyed this course without them. We've got private jokes and I trust them so much...

Now I have three months off then I'm back in September for my final year and I honestly don't know what I'm going to do afterwards; internship? apprenticeship? full time job? Uni? I honestly have no idea. But I will be 18 this college year which I don't know why but it gets me very excited... I think it's because I will be tattooed and in college; feel like a total bad-ass.

My home life is about to be turned around completely by July as my dad is moving back in; at first when my mum told me I thought they were getting back together; don't get me wrong that's what everyone wants but my dad made my mum an emotional wreck but because of money issues he's sleeping here and taking over the house. The only downside to this is the fact my mum isn't going to sleep here any more and she's going to be sleeping at her sisters; but she only lives round the corner so I will see her every day... it's just going to be weird living in an all male household again.

Okay, back to the happy parts of this post; I am going away on holiday with seven of my girl-friends. Were going to Cyprus for a much needed get away; and nothing says girls holiday in Cyprus like Ayia Napa! I'm in the middle of packing at the moment; I haven't been on holiday for three years and I've forgotten how hard it was to pack for a weeks holiday! I will make a longer post on this just before I go; with my packing!

I wanted to make a post on something about my life and not something that's just happened or when I've had a day out so I thought I'd make a post about my friends... I'm feeling rather soppy so I thought it would be a good idea; it's going to be a really long post so just bare with me... lets start with my college friends.

Jess. Ahhh Jessica Bone otherwise known as Jessssyeah. The oldest of our little friendship group; not going to tell you how old she is... that's just rude. We have pretty much everything in common from our music taste to our taste in men to the fact we both despise tomatoes and love baby corn.

I love this girl to pieces and I don't think a day goes past where we don't high five ahaha... or talk to each other to be honest. Our snapchat-chats make my day. 

She's introduced me to some amazing (and beautiful I think you know who I'm talking about) people and I really hope we stay friends for a long time and even if she does go off to UNI we'll still be in contact.

Rosie is the youngest of the group but I swear at times she can be the most mature! Now if you need to know anything about Justin Bieber/want to have a belieber chat Rosie is your girl and yes; her favourite colour is purple; of course!

I love her to pieces; her stories are incrediable and a day doesn't go by when she doesn't say something to make me laugh.

I do love having little Bieber chats every now and then and hearing about the time she was so close to touching the Biebs!

One thing I love Rosie for is how dirty minded she can be; always a good thing on a long Wednesday.

I would defiantly say Jade is the cutest one in the group and my best friend. She gets me jealous half the time when she tells me story's of the famous people she's met; the Skins cast, The Wanted, Tyler James, The Loveable Rouges and James Michael.

She's my little Directioner/Potterhead; she's in love with Harry Styles so don't touch him.

Like Rosie I love having my little One Direction fangirl chats with her!

Jade always makes me laugh and I love her to pieces. We have a few things in common such as hating the same people which makes me feel better about hating them! *cough* Taylor Swift, Frankie Sandford and Caroline Flack*

Awww Charlie, CJD, Charlie is like my gay best friend even though I've only known him for eight months! We have so much in common and honestly I love him so much! 

We both feel that we we're trapped in the wrong skin colour; forever just wanting to be as fabulous as Beyonce; the obsession never ends with her!

We have the same music taste whether that be old school Destiny's Child or rapping along to Kanye!

I love being around him, he always beings a smile to my face and I can't wait to turn 18 and finally go out with him!

We also have a plan that if we're both 40 and single we are going to get married and spend the rest of our lives together!

Excuse the size of my head in this picture but Josh is genuinely one of the cutest people out there! He always puts his foot in it and makes it awkward for himself but honestly he wouldn't be Josh if he didn't! He's in love with Nicki Minaj and everything about her! mention her name and he'll turn around quicker than you can say 'bootaaayyy'. He even got a Nicki poster as a secret santa gift...

Josh will always give me new song's to listen and everyone he has shown me I've loved and overplayed a little too much...

Okay, so there are two more people in our little group Ethan and Ashleigh but I don't have photo's with them... I don't exactly know why? Ethan is a longboarder with a beard, spider-bites and a damn hot girlfriend! He's lovely apart from the time he threw up in my house at a party... erm. 

I've known Ashleigh for a year longer than all of these guys as I was in her tutor group and media class so I guess it was nice to see a friendly face when I started this year of college!

So that's my college friends now my other group of friends; the ones that have become like a second family to me.

Ahhh, Lily. Lily is my best friend even though we've only really been friends for almost two years she's not even my best friend; she's like my sister! We've adopted each other in to one another homes like another child! I can tell her anything I want and not have to worry she might tell someone! She has a twin (A TWIN!!) who I'm also really good friends with now. 

Having a friend like her makes me life bearable! She gets drunk and in turn take me down with her! I can't remember the last time she got drunk and didn't have a hangover!

We're going to be alone forever together and I would pick her over a guy any day. 

Her advice is some of the best and I take on every word, like having your very own Psychiatrist!

Hannah is one of my oldest friends, I've known her since junior school (so from about age 7) but only really became good friends in Year 8 (around 12/13 years old) and 6 years on we're as close as ever! Hannah is one of the nicest people I've ever met and it's been amazing being her friend and I love her so much! 

She's the most grown up out of us although she can be one of the most childish.

She snorts when she laughs and is rather clumsy but I wouldn't have her any other way!

Georgie is another one of my oldest friends; we've been friends for about 6 years now and we first met in Maths in Year 8. We've done so much together and I'm grateful for everything we've done together! We've even been on holiday together which is a time I will never forget, ever!

Even though over the past 4 months we grew apart and sadly we're not as close as we used to be and our friendship took a downfall I'm proud to have once had a friendship like this! 

She's one of the funniest but most gross people I have ever met! She never fails to make me laugh and she always tells it how it is!

No we are not naked in this photo; it was sunny and sunbathing was in order!

Marni is one of my closest friends; we have so much in common and have been friends for about 7 years! She's a valentines baby and the loving nature defiantly shows; I've never known anyone to say a bad word about Marni! she's one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! 

We have the same taste in men which is why she is always my gig buddy! Out of all the gigs I've been to; I've only been to 2 without her! Anything musical we'll go to be honest!

She's also Beyonce obsessed; I'm very jealous she's going to be seeing her at V Festival this year! 

I've known Steph like I've known Hannah; since Junior school but we never really got to know each other until senior school when we started hanging around with each other! 

Steph is known for getting drunk and passing out... not the best representation of someone but you know. Wouldn't have her any other way to be honest! 

I love going round her house when we sit outside on her trampoline eating pizza, chicken wedges and garlic pizza and drinking Pepsi every time without fail!

Bryony, or as I like to call her Pash (her middle name is Passion, so it's either Pash or Passion Fruit)

She's my little brainiac; very very smart and an amazing artist! She's the type of person to go on holiday to see the museums not to get wasted! 

She's so sweet and a proper dark horse when it comes to looking nice! You think she'll do simple then BAM! she looks bloody stunning!

I've known Rachel for about 7 years now and I'm amazed at how we can go a month without speaking and then go back to speaking like we used to in school.

She's the most grown up out of all the people I know and is doing amazing with her job; I really wish the best for Rachel; she's one of the sweetest people I've known and will do anything to make sure your happy and okay before taking care of herself and what she needs to do!

Murray. Muzzting. Muzza Hobo. I've only known Murray for just over a year but he's like my best guy friend. He's also Hannah's boyfriend which is nice to have them together in the same group as we always get to spend time together! He's the biggest flirt I've ever met, even my mum has got a soft spot for him; like most mums do I expect. 

I used to have a thing for Murray but him being with Hannah just made things weird but it brought our relationship a lot closer and now I couldn't imagine not being friends with him!

He always looks out for me when it comes to guys and makes sure I get treated right and is always there for me; it's like having an older brother.

I met Marlon when I met Murray. Marlon was with a friend then they broke up and we just remained friends! Me and Marlon had a little thing then it got complicated so we shut it down, come to think of it he's made the rounds of the group and been with 4 of us!

He's a wanna-be body builder and has his shirt off a lot of the time if you had a body like that why wouldn't you get it out?

Marlon is now one of my best friends and I love having little chats with him even though we don't see each other an awful lot. I'll always remember the time he got me addicted to Underworld...

And last but not least. Billy. I've never met anyone like Billy. Give him a bribe of food to do something gross and he'll do it!

He's Steph's boyfriend and they're that couple that you want a relationship like! So damn cute!

He likes a good drink and everytime I end up at his for a BBQ or a party I end up getting sooo drunk... I blame his mother and father completelyl such bad influences!
